Remark: Note the pitted cephalic
ring by which the trinucleid trilobites fed by swimming along the seafloor,
possibly using their legs to disturb food that then entered their
filter chamber with the water exiting dorsally through through the dorsal
fenestrae or pits. Notice too the occipital spine coming off the back
of the cephalon.
