Trilobites Order Phacopida, Suborder Calymenina, Superfamily Calymenoidea, Family Calymenidae
Geologic Age: Early Silurian (435 million years ago)
Trilobite is 13 mm long
Jupiter Formation, Northeast Quebec, Canada
Remarks: This is a rare trilobite, partly because all Silurian trilobites are relatively less common, which in turn is because the extinction event at the end of the Ordovician was very severe, particular for marine invertebrates (Adamek, 2014).
