Remarks: This is a rare and truly primitive trilobite from the
lower Cambrian of Nevada. Lieberman's
1999 revision Olenelloidea suggests
recent common ancestry with Palmettaspis and
Holmiella, two other genera known from western Laurentia strata. This
trilobite is in the same family as Cambropallas, and the resemblance
is noticeable.
